I just got back from Novgorod and it was a very very long drive back to Peter. There were some problems with the bus and the engine was overheating so we had to make several stops along the while.

I am off to Novgorod for the weekend and it should be fun. Let me rephrase that; it will be fun unless I freeze. Last time I checked the weather for this weekend it is suppose to be -24 F with windchill. That’s not fun but if I can keep my poor little feet and my face from freezing, then everything will be okay.
If I do not report back on Sunday night, then please send someone to come find me. Please and thank you.

Let’s try something new here. Instead of song of the day, today we will do food of the day.
Food of the day- omelette with bacon, cheese, and tomatoe
Why the sudden change from music to food? Well, because today I had an omelette and I was happy. I have not had eggs at all since I have been in Russia. No sunny side up, no scrambled, no nothing. I like eggs. I miss them. Also I’ve been craving a grilled cheese. Continue reading »

I have not posted anything lately because I just got back from my trip to Moscow and Kiev yesterday evening. It was a great and fun trip which I will tell you about on Sunday. Tomorrow morning I am finally going to Novgorod which means I have to do laundry. Yes, I am only staying over night but I have no clean clothes left. I’ve run out of clean underwear, I only have 2 clean shirts left, and all my jeans are dirty.

I’m sorry, my poor little blog. I know that I have been neglecting you but everything has been hectic. At the end of the day I am just to exhausted to post anything. I’ll make it up to you next week when things die down a bit. Tomorrow night begins my journey to Moscow. Then we are off to Kiev and afterwards to Novgorod. Then maybe, just maybe, I can squeeze in a trip to Helsinki. I won’t be able to travel much this semester because I will not have my passport after this trip. Once again I have to hand in my passport in order to get my visa extended until May. I would not be traveling this much if I was not studying abroad. Thank you, study abroad programs.
Oh, there is so much I want to say but I really need to get back to reading for my history test tomorrow.

Before I get to the actually post today, I just want to say that I figured out how to use the gallery feature today. I didn’t know how to use it before because I never bothered to learn what it is. Earlier I wanted to add pictures from Peterhof in my Gallery but I don’t like having to post one picture at a time because it’s time consuming. Then I was like maybe this Gallery feature at the bottom can help so I used and I realized that I loved it! Now I have to fix up the rest of the pages under my Gallery because they just look messy.
