Why? I am currently listening to it and it’s a great song. Le duh. Go listen to it and watch the music video. My favorite part in the video is when he is on the horse. Honestly, I don’t know where I got the idea to do this song of the day segment but I don’t know if I will keep it. Maybe I will add a section to my blog about music. I’m no expert on music but I do LOVE listening to it.

Today, I have to make my way to the train station and then I will be on my way to Moscow. We are catching the overnight train so I will be in Moscow Friday morning. Then we will go on a tour of the city and then check into the hotel in the afternoon. On Sunday, we are going to Kiev by train and we will arrive in the morning. I come back to St. Petersburg next Thursday but then on Friday I’m off to Novgorod for a night. After I have lots of studying to do for my Russian conversation test on the Wednesday we come back. It shall be a fun week and interesting week.

I’m sorry, my poor little blog. I know that I have been neglecting you but everything has been hectic. At the end of the day I am just to exhausted to post anything. I’ll make it up to you next week when things die down a bit. Tomorrow night begins my journey to Moscow. Then we are off to Kiev and afterwards to Novgorod. Then maybe, just maybe, I can squeeze in a trip to Helsinki. I won’t be able to travel much this semester because I will not have my passport after this trip. Once again I have to hand in my passport in order to get my visa extended until May. I would not be traveling this much if I was not studying abroad. Thank you, study abroad programs.

Oh, there is so much I want to say but I really need to get back to reading for my history test tomorrow.

I have a quiz on fruits and vegetables tomorrow for my Russian conversation class. I’m staying up later studying because my host mom asked me to help her with her online English course. I’m glad I helped her but I know tomorrow is going to be a loooooong day. However, it is called studying abroad and not a vacation.
Therefore, the studying continues because I have a test on Wednesday and another on Thursday.

Yes, everything has been fairly easy but now midterms are fast approaching. I have a midterm the week after our Moscow/Kiev trip which I’m worried about because I will not gett anything school related done on the trip.

Also, not related to school, I bought Portal 2 today. I am one happy camper. It was between Portal 2 or Starcraft 2 but I want to get Starcraft 2 later. I want Lulu, my boyfriend, to teach me how to play.

This Friday I am going to Moscow or Kiev. I don’t know which one we are visiting first with the program. I hope that we visit Kiev first because it is farther away and then go to Moscow. The other day I was looking up places to visit in both of the cities and I’m excited to go. I probably will not be able to see all the places I want to but I can always go back later.

Our program has not told us much about the trip but we are having a meeting this Wednesday to discuss the trip. We should be getting our passports back which is nice. I might go to Novgorod the weekend that we come back. After the trip, I have to give my passport back to have my visa extended until May since I am staying for the year.

Also I was talking with my family yesterday and I am going to be going home in December. Then I will come back for Spring semester. My dad said he prefers for me to go home and it would be nice to be home. I am having major burrito withdrawals. The first thing that I will do when I get home is stop by this restaurant for awesome burritos and horchata.

I love that I am studying abroad but I do miss my family. Of course, I also miss my boyfriend.

Before I get to the actually post today, I just want to say that I figured out how to use the gallery feature today. I didn’t know how to use it before because I never bothered to learn what it is. Earlier I wanted to add pictures from Peterhof in my Gallery but I don’t like having to post one picture at a time because it’s time consuming. Then I was like maybe this Gallery feature at the bottom can help so I used and I realized that I loved it! Now I have to fix up the rest of the pages under my Gallery because they just look messy. Eventually, I will get to that….eventually.
